I moved to Qaqortoq, Greenland on the 18th of August 2011 to be with my Greenlandic husband. This country is so beautiful. I have been enthralled with it from the moment I set foot on this large beautiful island. It has been a place of healing, happiness, and peace. There is nowhere on Earth (well maybe Alaska and Norway) that compares to here. Most of Greenland and nature have not been marred by what humans tend to do to nature. The indigenous love this land, their country, their mother earth. Generation after generation has passed down the knowledge of how to thrive in such harsh conditions and how to respect nature while doing it.
